Marta Trojanowska – a Radom regionalist, author and librarian – and Tomasz Staniszewski – a researcher and promoter of the history of Radom – have been nominated for the St. Casimir Award for 2025, one of the most important distinctions granted by the City of Radom to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the culture and heritage of the city.
The nomination is a recognition of their many years of work devoted to promoting the history of Radom and protecting the tangible and intangible traces of its multicultural past. Trojanowska and Staniszewski are the initiators of numerous initiatives popularizing local history and the authors of exhibitions and publications devoted to the history of Radom.
The decision on the nominations was made by the St. Casimir Award Competition Committee, which met on 17 February 2026 at the headquarters of the Resursa Obywatelska. The committee was appointed by Order of the Mayor of Radom No. 1861/2026 of 3 February 2026.

The laureate of the St. Casimir Award will be announced during the city celebrations of Kaziki – on Sunday, March 8, after the conclusion of the 13th Great Test of Knowledge about Radom at the Resursa Obywatelska.
