It was a truly exceptional Monday for me — and on the 13th, no less. After more than 35 years of collecting, I managed to fulfill one of my greatest dreams: to present my collection of historical Polish share certificates at the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki-Zdrój.
During the opening, speeches were delivered by, among others, the Director of the Museum of Papermaking Dr. hab. Maciej Szymczyk, the Mayor of Duszniki-Zdrój Urszula Karpowicz, as well as invited guests and contributors to the event. A highlight of the evening was the excellent lecture by Dr. hab. Tomasz Głowiński from the University of Wrocław entitled “The History of Joint-Stock Companies,” which attracted great interest from the audience. Leszek Koziorowski, attorney-at-law, also spoke about collecting historical securities.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Director of the Museum of Papermaking and the entire team for their exemplary cooperation and excellent organization of the exhibition. I would also like to thank all the guests — especially my family and friends — for their presence and for sharing this special moment with me.
A pleasant highlight of the evening was a surprise prepared for the participants — each guest received a historical share certificate of Towarzystwo Przemysłu Metalowego K. Rudzki i Spółka from 1926.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until the end of June 2026.
I warmly invite you to visit.
