the guest of honor at the 2020 "Retrospotkanie" will be Tomasz Staniszewski, a history enthusiast and collector from Radom. Mr. Staniszewski will share stories about his family's history, which has been renowned for its work in the stonemasonry industry since the early 20th century. The speaker will also discuss his interest in the economic history of Poland and Radom in the 19th and 20th centuries. A highlight of the evening will be a presentation of fascinating and often unique historical documents collected by Staniszewski. A special exhibition accompanying the "Retrospotkanie" will feature original documents, including the original court filing for the establishment of a car factory in Radom, documents related to the recently demolished glassworks on Szklana Street, World War I posters, and many other Radom-related papers.
