On May 29, 2026, the Business Gala 2026 was held at the Rubin Hotel in Radom, organized by the Radom Chamber of Industry and Commerce to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Chamber’s activity. The event was not only an opportunity to mark this important milestone, but also the occasion for the final of the 26th edition of the “Granitowy Tulipan” (Granite Tulip) competition and for honoring individuals and institutions who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the region.
The gala brought together entrepreneurs, representatives of local government, public institutions and Chamber partners. The anniversary evening was hosted by Anna Wendzikowska, while the musical setting was provided by the Radom Chamber Orchestra. The program also included the premiere of a film devoted to the economic history of Radom.
During the gala, Tomasz Staniszewski was awarded the “Pro Masovia” Medal, a distinction granted by the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the development of the region.
The award was presented on behalf of the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship, Adam Struzik, by Adam Duszyk, Director of the Institute for Sustainable Technologies, and Rafał Rajkowski, Deputy Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship.
The “Pro Masovia” Medal is one of the most important distinctions awarded by the regional government to individuals and institutions whose activities contribute to the development of Mazovia and help build its positive image.
The award recognizes Tomasz Staniszewski’s many years of commitment to the business community of Radom and southern Mazovia, as well as his work documenting and promoting the economic history of the region. For many years he has combined his professional business activity with a passion for economic history, collecting historical securities, and publishing works devoted to the history of enterprises, industry and local economic heritage.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity to reflect on the 35-year history of the Radom Chamber of Industry and Commerce, an organization with which Tomasz Staniszewski has been associated for more than twenty-five years. Over the years, he has participated in numerous initiatives supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening the local business community.
A particularly meaningful aspect of the event was the presence of his son, Dariusz Staniszewski, who witnessed this special occasion. As the laureate emphasizes, seeing the next generation take its first steps in the world of business is both a source of great satisfaction and a reason for pride.
Tomasz Staniszewski regards the medal as both a great honor and a motivation for further work on behalf of Radom, Mazovia, and the preservation and promotion of the region’s economic heritage. At the same time, he stresses that achievements and successes are always the result of cooperation with the many people encountered throughout one’s professional and social journey.
