About the Author: Tomasz Staniszewski
Aged 54, a native of Radom and a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics, inspired by Professor Leszek Kałkowski's lectures on the history of securities to begin building his own collection of historical securities while still a student. Passionate about economic history, particularly the industrial past of Radom and the surrounding region, he has been involved in the stone industry for over 30 years. His company, INBRA POLSKA , is a leading importer of natural stone in Poland. A member of the International Bond & Share Society (IBSS) in London and a member of the Board of the Association of Collectors of Historical Securities in Warsaw, he has curated several exhibitions dedicated to Polish and foreign historical securities. He is also the founder of the economic history portal www.StarePapiery.pl.
